Let Ali’s age=x yrs. then father’s age=5 x yrs.

Present Ages:-

Ali’s age =(x+10) yrs.

Father’s age =(5x+10)yrs.

After 6 yrs :-

Ali’s age =(x+16)yrs.

Father’s age=(5x+16)yrs.

Accordingly:-

(x+16)=(3/7).(5x+16)

15x+48=7x+112

8x=64=> x=8

Present age of Ali’s father =5x+10=5×8+10
