The height of the tower is approximately 160.89 m.

Explanation:

Let the point be A.

Given : The angle of elevation of the top of a vertical tower on a level ground from A = 60°

The distance of  from its foot on the same ground and A = 93 m

let h be the height of the tower.

According to the trigonometry ,

\tan60^{\circ}=\dfrac{h}{93}

Put \tan60^{\circ}=\sqrt{3} , we get

\sqrt{3}=\dfrac{h}{93}

h=93\sqrt{3}

h=93(1.73)=160.89

Hence, the height of the tower is 160.89 m.
