Answer:

  \huge{ \underline{ \red{ \sf{Given}}}}

The area of a square is 64 cm²

Find :- Area of square formed by joining the mid of square.

Solution :-

Area of square= S²

 {s}^{2}  = 64

s =  \sqrt{64}

s = 8

Therefore the side of square is 8cm

Now we have to find side of inner square :-

 \sqrt{ {4}^{2} }  +  {4}^{2}  =  \sqrt{32}

 = 4 \sqrt{2}

There fore the side of inner square is 4√2

Area of inner square = s²

(4√2)²=32

Therefore the area of inner square is 32 cm
