Given inner side of square park, s=100 cm

Area of inner square =100²

=10000 cm²

width of path,w=5 cm

Outer side of square =100+5+5=110 cm

Area of outer square =110²

=12100 cm²

Area of path =12100−10000=2100 cm²

Cost of cementing at the rate of Rs 250 per 10 sq cm = Rs 250×210= Rs 52500

∴ Cost of cementing a 2100 cm²

path =Rs. 52500
