Given : 220 gram salt is present in 650g of solution.

To find : Calculate the concentration of solution?

Applying formula :

1) Mass of solution = Mass of solute + Mass of solvent.

2) Mass percentage = Mass of solute/Mass of solution × 100.

Calculations :

→ Mass of solution = 220 + 650

→ Mass of solution = 870

→ Mass percentage = 220/870 × 100

→ Mass percentage = 0.25 × 100

→ Mass percentage = 25%

Therefore, 25% is the mass percentage of the solution.
