Common difference, d = second term - first term = third term - second term

==> d = 17 - 23 = 11 - 17

==> d = -6 = -6

==> d = -6

first term of A.P , a = 23 ,

So,

nth term = a + ( n - 1)d

==> 23 + (n - 1)(-6)

==> 23 - 6n + 6

==> 29 - 6n

Hence, the nth term of A.P is 29 - 6n
