Answer:

Total numbers from the first 100 positive integer = 100

Total number of multiples of 3 between 1 and 100 is 33, i.e. 3, 6,9,12,15,18, 21, 24,27, 30,33,36,39,42, 45,48,51,54,57, 60,63,66,69,72,75,78,81,84,87,90,93,96,99

Out of these multiples of 5 are:-15,30,60,75,90

Hence, the multiples of 3 and 5 from the first 100 positive integer = 5

Therefore, when a number is randomly chosen from the first 100 positive integers, the probability that it is a multiple of 3 and 5

=\large{\frac{5}{100}}

=\large{\frac{1}{20}}
