oxidised to another compound B with formula C,H,O, Identify the compounds A and B.
Write the chemical equation for the reaction which leads to the formation of B.​

A is ethanol ( C2,H5,OH) as it is constituent of antifreeze .upon reaction with alkaline KMnO4 it gets oxited to athonic acid (C3ooH)

so, B is ethonic acid
