\huge\underline\blue{\sf Parallel\: Combination:}

  • There is same drop of potential across each resistance.

  • Current in each resistance is inversely proportional to the value of resistance.

\sf{i_1=\frac{V}{R_1}}

\sf{i_2=\frac{V}{R_2}}

\sf{i_3=\frac{V}{R_3}}

  • Current flowing in the circuit is sum of Current in individual resistance.

\large\implies{\sf i=i_1+i_2+i_3 }

\large\implies{\sf \frac{V}{R}=\frac{V}{R_1}+\frac{V}{R_2}+\frac{V}{R_3}}

\large\red{\boxed{\sf \frac{1}{R_{eq}}=\frac{1}{R_1}+\frac{1}{R_2}+\frac{1}{R_3}}}
