SOLUTION-:x=√2+1, y=√17-√2

 let'sfindvalueofx

x=&gt;√2+1

x=&gt;1.4+1

x=&gt;2.4

y=&gt;√17-√2

y=&gt;2.6-1.4

y=&gt;1.2

So,x&gt;y
