We know,

In a Rhombus, Diagonals bisect each other at right angle.

So, angle MXN = 90 degree

In triangle MXN, where angle MXN = 90 degree.

By Pythagorean theorem,

(MN) sq =( XN) sq +(MX) sq

=> (5) sq = (4) sq + (MX) sq

=> 25 =16 + (MX) sq

=> (MX) sq =25 - 16

=> (MX) sq = 9

=> MX = 3

Hence, value of MX = 3 cm
