let length = b+5

breadth = b

perimeter of rectangle is = 2( length + breadth)

74 m = 2[ (b+5) +b]

74/2 = (b+5)+b

37 -5 = b + b

32 = 2b

32/2 = breadth

16 = breadth

therefore,

breadth = 16 metres

length = 21 meters
