  • As per the data given in the question, we have to find the value of the expression.

       Given data:- \frac{24}{8}+\frac{21}{4}.

To find:- the value of x.

       Solution:-

  • We will take the LCM of the denominators, and make denominators the same.
  • We will Convert the given fractions to equivalent fractions with the denominator as the LCM.
  • Adding the numerators over the denominators.

        \Rightarrow \frac{24}{8}+\frac{21}{4}\\\Rightarrow \frac{24\times1+21\times2}{8}\\\Rightarrow \frac{24+42}{8}\\\Rightarrow \frac{66}{8}\\\Rightarrow \frac{33}{4}.

Hence, the value will be \frac{33}{4}.
