(24) A cell is prepared by dipping a copper rod in 1M Cuso, solution a
nickel rod in 1M NISO solution. The standard reduction potentials are
E°Cu/Cu+2 = 0.34V, E'Ni/Ni+2 = -0.25V
(a) Write cell reaction.
(b)

a)cu^2 + Zn = Cu + Zn^2+

b)cell is represented by

Zn|Zn^2+ || Cu^2+ | Cu.

c)EMF of the cell will be

E°= E°red - E°ox

= (0.34+0.76)v

=1.10v

hope this helps uuu
