24 A manufacturing company in Faridabad Haryana) marks a machine at 240000. It sells a
machine to a dealer in Delhi at a discount of 25% on the marked price. The dealer sells it to
a consumer in Kerala at a discount of 10% on the marked price. If the rate of GST is 12%,
calculate the net IGST, CGST and SGST payable by the dealer.

25/100×240000=60,000(now this 60,000 is the cost price)now igst

12/100×60,000(you will get the anser for igst)now

cgst is half of gst so 6/100×60,000

like same sgst

Manufacturing = Rs 240000

GST=12%

IGST=12/100×240000

=RS 28800

SALE 2

GST= 25%

IGST= 25/100×28800

= RS 7200

SALE 3

GST=10%

IGST=10/100×28800

= RS 2880

IGST=7200-2880

= RS 4320

IGST= RS 4320

SGST=0

CGST= 0

No CGST & SGST because the question in Interstate ( outside) the state .

IGST (Intrastate means local)
