24. Construct a quadrilateral ABCD

AB = 4.5 Cm BC = 5.5 Cm CD = 4 Cm

AD = 6 Cm AC = 7 Cm​

Given:- A quadrilateral ABCD AB = 4.5 cm BC = 5.5 Cm CD = 4 cm AD = 6 Cm AC = 7 cm.

To Construct :- A quadrilateral with given measures .

Construction :- [ For it refer to attachment ]

Steps of construction :-

➳ Draw a line AB = 4.5cm

➳ Taking B as centre and 5.5cm as radius cut an arc .

➳ Taking A as centre and 7cm as radius cut an arc .

➳Join B to C and A to C .

➳ Taking C as centre and 4cm as radius cut an arc .

➳ Join C to D .

➳ Taking A as centre and 6cm as radius cut an arc .

➳ Join A to D .

Hence ABCD is the required quadrilateral.
