Answer:

First divide the figure and label it as in the attachment.

Formula used:-

Area of rectangle=l×b

Solution:-

Area of given figure=Area of rectangle ABCD+Area of rectangle CJEF+Area of rectangle HGIJ

In the rectangle ABCD:-

AB=2m

AC=AE-(GF-HI)

=18m-(9m-3m)

=18m-6m

=12 m

Area of rectangle=ABCD

=12m×2m

 = 24 {m}^{2}

In the rectangle CJEF:-

CE=GF-HI

=9m-3m

=6m

EF=27m

Area of rectangle=27×6

 = 162 {m}^{2}

In the Rectangle HGIJ:-

HI=3m

HG=2m

Area of rectangle=3m×2m

 = 6 {m}^{2}

Therefore,

Area  \:  \: of  \:  \: the \:  \:  given  \:  \: figure=162 {m}^{2}  + 6 {m}^{2}  +  {24m}^{2}

 = 192 {m}^{2}
