Given :    Four times the difference in ages of C and A is one more then the age of B. percentage of A's age to C's age is 75%. if the ratio of B's age 5 years hence to C's age age 1 year ago is 4:3

To find : the average of ages A and C.

Solution:

Let say Age of  A , B & C  are  A , B & C

4(C - A)  = B + 1

=>4C  - 4A  = B + 1

A age = (75/100)C

=> 3C  = 4A

putting in above

=> 4C - 3C = B + 1

=> C  = B + 1

=> C - 1 = B

(B + 5) / (C - 1)   =  4/3

=> (B + 5) /B  =  4/3

=> 3B + 15  = 4B

=>B = 15

=> C = 16

3C  = 4A => A = 12

Average age of A & C  =  (12 + 16)/2 = 14 Years

Average age of A & C  = 14 Years

option D is correct
