Solution :

Given:

✏ Work done to move a charge = 24J

✏ Charge on particle = 6C

To Find:

✏ P.d. between two points

Formula:

✏ Relation between charge, potential difference and work done is given by

  • W = q × ΔV

Terms indication:

  • W denotes work done
  • q denotes charge on particle
  • ΔV denotes p.d.

Calculation:

✏ 24 = 6 × ΔV

✏ ΔV = 24/6

ΔV = 4 Volt

___________________________

Potential difference between two points = 4 Volt.

 \mathtt{ \huge{ \fbox{Solution :)}}}

Given ,

Work done (w) = 24 J

Charge (q) = 6 C

We know that , the work done (w) to move a unit charge (q) from infinity to a particular point is called potential difference (v)

  \large \mathtt{\fbox{Potential \:  difference = \frac{w}{q} } }

Thus ,

Potential difference = 24/6

Potential difference = 4 volt

Hence , the potential difference is 4 volt
