The total number of observations n = 10(Even).

Therefore the median of the data will be mean of 10/2 i.e 5th and 10/2 + 1 = 6th observation.

Given Median = 63.

(x + x + 2)/2 = 63

x + x + 2 = 63 * 2

x + x + 2 = 126

x + x = 126 - 2

x + x = 124

2x = 124

x = 124/2

x = 62.


Therefore the value of x = 62.
