  • Total surface area of cylinder

Solution :

Given that,

  • Radius and height if cylinder is 4:7 so,

  • Let the radius and height be 4x and 7x

  • Volume of cylinder is 2816cm

As we know that,

  • Volume of cylinder = πr²h

where r Radius is 4x and h is height 7x

》22/7 × 4x × 4x × 7x = 2816

》352x³ = 2816

》x³ = 2816/352

》 x³ = 8

》x = ³√8

》x = 2

  • Radius = 4x = 4(2) = 8cm
  • Height = 7x = 7(2) = 14cm

Now we have to find the total surface area of cylinder

As we know that,

  • Total surface area of cylinder = 2πr(r + h)

where, r is radius 8cm and h is height 14cm

》2 × 22/7 × 8 (8 + 14)

》 352/7 × 22

》1106.28cm²
