Given :- The volume of a prism is 441 cubic feet. It has a

square base with edges that are 7 feet long. Find the height of the prism.

Solution :-

we know that,

  • Volume of prism = Base area * height .

given that,

→ Edge of square base = 7 feet

so,

→ Area of square base = (Edge)² = (7)² = 49 feet² .

then,

→ Volume = Base area * height .

therefore,

→ 49 * height = 441

→ height = (441/49)

→ height = 9 feet .

Hence, height of prism is 9 feet .
