In the first case the swimmer pushes or moves the water with his hands and legs towards back that is the action force and then the water pushes or moves the swimmer forward that is the reaction force . This is how the man can swim.

In the second case a man pushes the soil backwards that is the action force and the soil equally pushes the man forwards that is the reaction force.

In the third case the man pushes the floor of the boat downwards that is the action force and the floor equally pushes the man upwards that is a reaction force and the man jumped out from the boat .

Remember When you will apply some amount of action force an then an equal and opposite reaction force is applied on you .
