Answer: The answer goes like this:

(25/8 x 2/5)-(3/5 x -10/9) = 5/4 - (-2/3)

                                         = 5/4+2/3              [minus minus= plus]

                                         = 23/12

Simplify to lowest form.

Answer :

Given :

The expression (25/8 × 2/5) – (3/5 × -10/9)

To find :

The simplify the given expression in its lowest form

Solution :

According to BODMAS rule, operations of a Bracket must be done first , followed by operations of OF, followed by operations of Division, followed by operations of Multiplication, followed by operations of Addition, followed by operations of Subtraction.

Hence, (25/8 × 2/5) – (3/5 × -10/9)

= ( 5/4 ) - ( -2/3)

= (5/4) + (2/3)

= ((5*3) + (2*4))/ 12

= (15 + 8)/12

= 23/12
