Answer:

The Curved surface area of the cylinder is 2640 cm² &  Volume of the cylinder is 13860 cm³

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :

Number of circular plates = 25

Radius of each circular plate = 10.5 cm

Thickness of circular plates = 1.6 cm

Total thickness of plates, h = 1.6 × 25 = 40 cm

Plates are placed one above other so they form a cylinder.

Volume of the cylinder = πr²h

= 22/7 × 10.5² × 40

= 22/7 × 10.5 × 10.5  × 40

= 22 × 1.5 × 10.5 × 40

Volume of the cylinder =13860 cm³

Curved surface area of a cylinder = 2πr×h

= 2 × 22/7 × 10.5 × 40

= 44 × 1.5 × 40

Curved surface area of a cylinder = 2640 cm²

Hence, the Curved surface area of the cylinder is 2640 cm² &  Volume of the cylinder is 13860 cm³

\huge{Hey \ Dude}

Given that 250 circular plates each with radius 10.5 cm

Thickness is 1.6 cm.

Since plates are placed one above the other so its height becomes =1.6*25 =40 cm

Volume of the cylinder = ∏r2h

= ∏10.52×40 =13860 cm³

Curved surface area of a cylinder = 2∏r×h

= 2∏10.5×40 = 2640cm2

Volume of the cylinder is 13860 cm³

Curved surface area of the cylinder is

2640 cm2

Hope its help you
