Draw a ray diagram to show the formation of image of an object placed between
the optical centre and the focus of a thin convex lens. Draw the graph showing the
variation of image distance v with the object distance u for a thin convex lens.​

We follow the usual method of drawing the ray-diagram:

Consider two rays starting from the object. One passes through the optical center of the lens and the other would get refracted by the lens. e observe that on the other side of the lens, both these rays diverge and the image location can be found by extending the refracted rays backwards on the object's side the lens.
