Answer:

Sin A = 5/13

Tan A = 5/12

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that,

Cos A = adjacent / hypotenuse = 12 / 13

Therefore,

Adjacent Side = 12 units

Hypotenuse = 13 units

By Pythagoras Theorom, We know that :-

(Hypotenuse)^2 = (Adjacent Side)^2 + (Opposite Side)^2 Side

(13)^2 = (12)^2 + (Opposite Side)^2

169 = 144 + (Opposite Side)^2

(Opposite Side)^2 = 169 - 144

(Opposite Side)^2 = 25

(Opposite Side) = 5

Therefore Opposite Side = 5 Units.

Sin A = Opoosite / Hypotenuse = 5 / 13

Tan A = Opposite / Adjacent = 5 / 12

Hope This Helps You.

Have a Nice Day :-)
