this question can be divided into 2 parts

1st part

take BG as the transversal

with this , we can figure out that angle ABG = angle BGC + angle CGF =110 degrees (alternate interior angles)

therefore x+CGF = 110

2nd part

take CG as the transversal

with this , we can figure out that angle DCG + angle CGF = 180 degrees. ( co - interior angles)

therefore , 100+CGF = 180

CGF = 180 - 100

CGF =80 degrees

we found that x + CGF = 110

x + 80 = 110

x = 110 - 80

x = 30
