2x+3x=25
5x=25
X=25/5
X=5

That means in 25 litres of solution milk is 2x=2*5 =10litres
And water is 3x=3*5=15 litres

So we have to replace 2.5 ltrs of water to milk so the solution contains 12.5 ltrs of milk and 12.5 ltrs of water, which is 50% of milk and 50% of water.
