Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

25 marbles are placed at equal distance on a line 30 meters long , the distance from the end also begin the same. There is no marbles at any end of the line.

To find:-

Find the distance between two consecutive marbles.

Solution:-

Number of marbles = 25

Length of the line = 30 meters

Given that the distance from the end also begin the same.

=>The distance between two consecutive marbles on rhe line is same or equal

Let the distance between two consecutive marbles be X m

The total distance of 25 marbles = 25X

According to the given problem , Length of the line = 30 m

=>25X = 30 m

=>X = 30/25

=>X = 6/5

=>X = 1.2 m

we know that 1 m = 100 cm

=>1.2 m = 1.2×100 cm = 120 cm

Answer:-

The distance between two consecutive marbles = 1.2 m or 120 cm

Check :-

25×1.2 = 30 m
