Recall that two angles are said to be complement if their sum is 90°. Let the angle be x Complement of x is (90° – x)given that an angle is 25° less than its complement Hence x = (90° – x) – 25° ⇒ x + x = 65° ⇒ 2x = 65° ∴ x = 32 1/2° Thus the angle is 32 1/2° or (65/2)°.
