Although it sometimes seems that some activities or work cannot be completed alone, without anyone's help or assistance, but it's not necessarily true.This depends a lot on one's will and mental and physical strength.
Taking assistance for every developmental activity is not very good for onself's character and self esteem. Being able to do one's own work oneself develops one's self-esteem, making him able to look someone right in the eye when wronged.
Self- help makes one self-sustainable and self-dependant. In times of need, one would not have to depend on others to save and care for him. In today's world, self-dependancy is very important, man tends to take advantage of someone's vulnerability, which is during need.
Taking other's assistance is not necessarily bad because it may help in development of trust between oneselves. Also, social and emotional support is usually the start of a real friendship.
