in a class of 48 students, the number of boys is 3/5 of the number of girls. find the number of boys and girls.

Therefore,
No of Boys =3/5x

According to the question,

x+3/5x=48
5x+3x/5=48

8x/5=48
8x=240
x=240/8
x=30

Therefore,
No of Boys =3/5 of x
=3/5×30
=18
