▶ Given :

α and β are the zeroes of the polynomial 3x^2 - 2x - 7

▶To Find :

α / β + β / α

▶ We know that :

Sum of zeroes = - coefficient of x / coefficient of x^2

=> α + β = - ( - 2 ) / 3

=> α + β = 2 / 3

Product of zeroes = constant term / coefficient of x^2

=> αβ = - 7 / 3

α / β + β / α = ( α )^2 + ( β )^2 / αβ

=> α / β + β / α = ( α + β )^2 - 2αβ / αβ

=> α / β + β / α = ( 2 / 3 )^2 - 2 × - 7 / 3 / - 7 / 3

=> α / β + β / α = 4 / 9 + 14 / 3 / - 7 / 3

=> α / β + β / α = 4 + 42 / 9 / - 7 / 3

=> α / β + β / α = 46 / 9 / - 7 / 3

=> α / β + β / α = 46 / 9 × - 3 / 7

=> α / β + β / α = - 46 / 21

\large{\boxed {\boxed {\pink {\sf {Therefore, {\dfrac { \alpha}{ \beta}} +{ \dfrac {\beta}{ \alpha}}=  { \dfrac{ - 46}{21}}}}}}}

✔✔ Hence, it is solved ✅✅
