Area occupied by one ring = πr^2 = (22/7)×(4/3)^2 = 5.58cm^2
Area occupied by 25 rings= 5.58×25= 139.6cm^2
Area occupied by the square= 12×12= 144cm^2
Therefore, area unoccupied by the rings= 144-139.6= 4.4cm^2
Area occupied by 25 rings= 5.58×25= 139.6cm^2
Area occupied by the square= 12×12= 144cm^2
Therefore, area unoccupied by the rings= 144-139.6= 4.4cm^2

Area of square = side × side
= 12× 12 = 144cm^2
Area of circle = pi × r × r
= 22/7 × 4/3 × 4/3
=. 5.58cm^2
Now area of 25 rings are = 5.58 × 24
=. 133.92cm^2
Area left = area of square - area of circles
= 144 - 133.92
= 10.08 cm^2
Thanks
