length of rectangle= 25*2
=50cm
breadth=2cm

area=l*b
A=50*2
A=100cm^2

or

25*area of sq

Dear Student,

● Answer -

Area = 100 cm²

◆ Explanation -

Perimeter of each small square is 8 cm.

Let s be side of square.

Perimeter = 4s

8 = 4s

s = 8/4

s = 2 cm

Area of rectangle is same as sum of all the squares.

Area = 25 × s²

Area = 25 × 2²

Area = 25 × 4

Area = 100 cm²

Hence, area of rectangle formed is 100 cm².

Thanks dear. Hope this helps you..
