Step-by-step explanation:

area of room = cost of flooring / rate of flooring

4500/25

= 180 m^2

Now, ratio of length and breadth = 5:4

let be the common ratio no. = x

length= 5x and breadth= 4x

area = l× b

=5x×4x

= 20x

now, 20x = 180

x= 180/20 = 9

Hence, length = 5×9= 45 m

breadth = 4×9=36m

Answer:

given :    length : breadth = 5:4

Let length , l=5x

breadth , b=4x

area of the floor=5x * 4x=20 x^2

according to the question :-

20 x^2 * 25=4500

x^2=9

x= root of 9= 3

length = 5x=15 metre

breadth=4x=12 metre
