◇GIVEN :

HCF OF TWO NUMBERS = 6

LCM OF TWO NUMBERS = 36

ONE OF THE NUMBER = 12

◇TO FIND :

THE OTHER NUMBER

◇ PROOF :

LET FIRST NUMBER BE 'A' AND THE SECOND NUMBER BE 'B'.

12 = A

B = ??

♡FORMULA USED :

LCM ( A, B ) × HCF (A , B ) = A × B

THEREFORE ,

➡ 36 × 6 = 12 × B

B = 36 × 6 / 12

B = 36 / 2

B = 18

➡THE OTHER NUMBER IS 18 . ✔
