25. The velocity time graph for the motion of a body is shown below.
Study the graph carefully and answer the following questions.
a) Calculate the acceleration of the body from B to C.
b) Find out the distance travelled by the body from C to G.

a) acceleration=4 m/s^2

b) distance= 900 m

Explanation:

a) Acceleration of a body From B to C =slope of V-t grpah from B to C=Y2-Y1/X2-X1

so

acceleration=60-20/40-30=4 m/s^2

b) Distance travelled by body from C to G=Area under curve C to G=area of triangle CFG

Distance=0.5×base ×height

=0.5×FG ×CF

=0.5 ×60×30

=900 meter
