Answer:

An en dash is a mid-sized dash (longer than a hyphen but shorter than an em dash) that is mostly used to show ranges in numbers and dates. It can also be used for clarity in forming complex compound adjectives. The en dash derives its name from the fact that it is meant to be the same width as the letter N.

On the Grasshopper and the Cricket

Through the lines, 'The poetry of earth is ceasing never', the poet, John Keats is saying that even if anything happens that prevents writings, the nature will have its on poetry through the chirping of the crickets and grasshoppers. He is expressing that nature has her own capability of producing melodious music that we hear during the summer and autumn seasons through the grasshopper and in the winter through the cricket.

✔ The grasshopper chirps delightfully in the summer and autumn seasons while the cricket's chirpings arouses the minds of people with drowsiness of winter and the promises of a summer soon.

✔ These lines are taken from the poem, The Poetry of Earth.
