GiveN :-

  • Cost Price of butter = ₹ 54

  • Selling price of butter = ₹ 52.50

To FinD :-

  • Loss percentage on selling butter

SolutioN :-

Firstly we have to find Loss on selling butter

\longrightarrow  \boxed{\orange{ \bf Loss = CP - SP}} \\  \\\longrightarrow \sf Loss =54 - 52.50 \\  \\\longrightarrow \sf Loss =₹ \: 1.5

Now , Loss % on selling butter

\longrightarrow \boxed{ \green{ \bf Loss \% =  \frac{Loss \times 100}{CP}}} \\  \\\longrightarrow \sf Loss  \: \% =  \frac{1.5 \times 100}{54} \\  \\\longrightarrow \sf  Loss \:  \% = \frac{150}{54} \\  \\\longrightarrow \boxed{ \sf \blue{ Loss  =  2.7 \: \%}}
