Answer:

Explanation:

2 C2H6  + 7 O2 --->4 CO2 +6 H2O

ethane rqd = 2volume

oxygen rqd = 7 volume

therefore for 600 cc of ethane

volume of oxygen rqd = 300 x 7 cc = 2100 cc

volume of carbon dioxide formed will be =  4 volume = 4 x 300 cc = 1200 cc

volume of unused oxygen left = 2500 - 2100 =400 cc

Answer:

Calculate the volumeof unused oxygen and the volume of carbon dioxide ... Hence, unused O2 is = 2500 - 2100 = 400 cc. From 2V of ethane = 4 V of CO2 is produced.
