\underline{\sf{Number\:of\:soldiers}} = 2500

We need equal soldiers in each row and column.

Let the number of soldiers in one row = x = Number of soldiers in one column

=》 2500 = x × x

=》 \tt{x^{2} = 2500}

=》 \tt{x = 50}

Answer - \huge{\sf{50\:soldiers}}
