The total mass of the solution;

=(Mass of the solute+mass of the solvent)

=(Mass of the salt+mass of the water)

=(23+100)g

=123 g

The concentration of the solution:

=(100× mass of the solvent/mass of the whole solution)

=(100×23/123)

=18.69%

=18.7% (answer.)
