Step-by-step explanation:

solution:-

25x-23y=-167 .......(i) eq

23x-25y=-169 .......(ii)eq

now Add (i) and (ii) eq

25x-23y+23x-25y= - 169-167

48x-48y= -336

48(x-y)= -336

x-y= -336/48

x-y= -7 .........(i) eq

now subtract (ii) and (i) eq

23x-25y-(25x-23y)= -169-(-167)

-2x-2y= -2

-2(x+y)= -2

x+y=1 ......(ii)eq

using substitution method

x-y= -7

x= -7+y .........(i) eq

put the value on (ii) eq

x+y=1

-7+y+y=1

-7+2y=1

2y=8

y=4

now put the value of on (i) eq

x= -7+4

x= -3

value of:- x= -3 and y=4
