Hey!

Here's ur answer:

Explanation:

=> - mv+mv0-mv=0

=> v0=v(m+M)/m

Answer:

mass of a car = M

mass of a man = m

initial velocity of a car was u1 = 0m/s .

let man's velocity be u m/s .

the car acquires a speed of v m/s .

*ACCORDING OF CONSERVATION OF LINEAR MOMENTUM :

mu +mu1 (m+M)V. {as the man is in the car having velocity v and net mass is (m+M)

mu = (m+M)V

or

u ( initial velocity of man) = [(m+M)V]/u

or

v [1+ M/m]

may this help you

have a great time ahead......
