arteries are the one which carries oxygenated blood whereas vein carries deoxygenated  blood

ARTERY
arteries  carry oxygenated   blood to all parts of body
pulmonary artery carry deoxygenated blood from heart to lungs 
blood flows in high pressure

VEINS
pulmanory vein carry oxygenated blood from lungs to heart
veins carry deoxygenated blood blood to the heart.
blood flows in low pressure
