3x⁴-7x²y²+2y⁴

=3x⁴-(6+1)x²y²+2y⁴

=3x⁴-6x²y²-x²y²+2y⁴

=3x²(x²-2y²)-y²(x²-2y²)

=(x²-2y²)(3x²-y²)
