26. (i) A test-tube containing little water is corked and suspended
from 2 strings in a slanting position. Observe the test tube when
it is heated and answer the following questions:-
(a) What happens to the cork?
(b) In which direction does the test-tube move?​

The cork blows out and the test tube recoiled  in opposite direction.

(a) On boiling the water, steam start producing that exerts an action force on the cork and as a result,  the cork blows out.
