Explanation:

Nuclear power is the use of nuclear reactions that release nuclear energy to generate heat, which most frequently is then used in steam ...

Nuclear fusion is a reaction in which two or more atomic nuclei are combined to form one or more different atomic nuclei and subatomic particles. The difference in mass between the reactants and products is manifested as either the release or absorption of energy.

Answer:

1) (i) Hazards: Nuclear power plants are a potential target for terrorist operations. An attack could cause major explosions, putting population centers at risk, as well as ejecting dangerous radioactive material into the atmosphere and surrounding region.

(ii) Limitations: Nuclear energy is certainly not renewable energy source- It is to be noted that the raw material required is Uranium. Uranium is mined due too it death of availability in many countries. Therefore its hazardous and non- replenishment. Nuclear weapons can destroy humanity.

2) Nuclear fission : Nuclear fission is a process in nuclear physics in which the nucleus of an atom splits into two or more smaller nuclei as fission products, and usually some by-product particles. Hence, fission is a form of elemental transmutation.

For example, the fission of one kilogram of uranium releases as much energy as burning around four billion kilograms of coal.
